Bear Creek Nature Park, 740 W. Snell Road, Oakland Township, MI
With the holiday season in full swing the climate around the shopping malls, our homes, and our offices can seem downright magical. We feel as though it's about time nature joined in on the festivities. Join us at Bear Creek Nature Park as we put together and decorate portable luminaries from beneath the pavilion with seating to take out onto the trails for a very special evening hike. We will be focusing on the sights, sounds, and smells of a Michigan winter, all from the glow of our handheld lanterns (which we will be taking home!). We will be softly lighting up animals tracks, winter berries, and talking about how nature seems to pause for this season.
Residents: $5 Non-residents: $7 Maximum 10 registrants.
