A Wild Day in the Woods (5 kids max)

For entering grades 2nd-5th

$5 nonmembers/ $3 members

There is so much to see and explore outside at our preserve. Join us as we take some time to learn how to put together our own lean-to shelters outside in the woods. We will build our own rubber-band bows and arrows and practice our aim in the woods before heading out on the trails to learn a little bit about animal tracks. We will end our class at our own place around the picnic tables putting together our own track books to take home.

Participants are encouraged to wear a mask during this program. There will be no access to Dinosaur Hill’s nature center, so participants are also encouraged to bring their own bug spray, water bottle and be extra sure to use the bathroom before leaving for this event. All crafting supplies will be organized specifically for your child, with no sharing of any equipment. Due to our inability to use the nature center we will have to cancel this event should we face inclement weather, thank you for understanding.
