Although a fair portion of our feathered friends retreat with our relatives to Florida during the bitter winter months, some of our hardier flock remain perched in our trees, floating in our lakes, and nestled within our forests. Join us for a special class for the older crowd hosted by our own Miss Martina as she takes us through the exciting world of winter birding here in Michigan. We will discuss our common wintering birds (such as cedar waxwings and chickadees) as well as tips and tricks to ensure your winter feeders are efficient and offering up the necessary nutrients for these robust soaring critters! We will also be going for a walk on the trails to see what elusive winter birds we can find!
