Beneath The Surface - Grades 1-4
Roll those pant legs up because we’re going to be exploring the shores of Lost Lake in pursuit of local wildlife that calls the mud home. We will learn about the adaptations of the crayfish, explore numerous bugs that don’t stray far from the shore and even try our hands at fishing to try and reel in one of the elusive bullheads in the waters. This program is for everyone in grades 1 through 4, however children younger than 7 will have to be accompanied by an adult. We will provide all participants with a stream dipping net, a fishing rod, bait, a life jacket, and the perfect summer program!
Class is $5 per child for Oakland Township residents; $7 per child non-residents
